Hi. We are a couple living in Waikouaiti, a small seaside village 30 minutes by car North of Dunedin (45 kilometres) on State Highway 1. We welcome you to our home and would love to be part of your travelling experience. Come and stay for a while. We have craft skills we'd love to pass on and it will be great to have help with projects and maintenance around the house and garden. In exchange for 2 hours work a day we are offering accommodation in our caravan. It has a double bed, so is suitable for a couple or a single person. You can pitch your tent if you like and there is space for campervans. You are welcome to use our electricity, shower, washing machine and kitchen. We do not supply food except for tea and coffee. Our place is 1 kilometre from State Highway 1. Waikouaiti has a beautiful beach, a water-bird sanctuary lagoon, historic sites nearby, ATM, dairy, bakery, takeaway, pottery,a few shops and library with free internet. (We only have internet on our phones.) Nearby Dunedin has a lot to offer too. Looking forward to hearing from you. We are available most of the time. Please contact Swanny or Jane by phone or email. Thanks.
