Family house, -2 adults, 2 teens, 1 dog and 4 chooks.
We live 200m from a very quiet beach on Kennedy Point on Waiheke Island. The beach is great for swimming at high tide.
We are looking for help after February for a spring-clean. Later we may be looking for bits of painting, wood-chopping, gardening, sorting through cupboards and garage etc. Let us know where your skills lie and we will sure to be able to find something that has needed doing for the last few years!
We also run a holiday cottage so sometimes need help with washing sheets, making beds, cleaning the cottage and similar.

We would offer accommodation in a semi-self-contained flat; and meals with the family (we have a bad habit of eating late in the evening) in return for 4 hours work per day or so.

Helpers/guests need to be dog friendly and easy going as we tend to be a bit disorganised. We are non-smokers and would hope smokers kept their smoking outside.

3 of us are vegetarian.
The house/garden isn't organic, but as all Waihetians, we harvest our own rain water (no mains on the Island) and dispose of our waste water through a septic tank, so this keeps us constantly aware of our water and chemical usage. The garden is virtually spray free, -and almost as messy as the house.
