We are looking for help in February and March 2015 with getting our B&B ready for the new season. The work will mainly be painting, gardening and housework/cleaning. 'Handyman' skills would be helpful but willingness to get stuck in is more important.

Some examples of jobs that will need doing include pruning trees, clearing brambles, moving soil, weeding, building a deck, painting shutters, walls and windows. Anyone with woodwork or building skills would be particularly welcome to help with fixing windows, building a deck and fixing old stone walls. Maybe some ironing-there's always lots of ironing at a B&B! Keen cooks would be welcome to prepare meals but not essential.

Ideally we are looking for couples or friends, but are happy to consider individuals who are independent and want to make good use of their weekends and free time to explore Tuscany.

Work would be 25 hours a week, all meals provided. Accommodation will be in one of the guest rooms with ensuite shower room. This can be either double bed or twin beds. We have good wi fi access. Smoking only outside please.

We are a British family of four with teenage sons and 3 cats.

Bagni di Lucca is a small town in northern Tuscany. The train station is 2km away, also local bus service 5 minutes away. Nearest bar 5 minutes walk, supermarket 15minutes on foot. The nearest large town is Lucca, 25 minutes away, a great place to visit, very charming and much loved. Pisa and Florence are easy day trips. Also accessible but a bit further are the Cinque Terre and Siena. With a car the ski resort of Abetone can be reached in around 45 minutes.
