August 27th til october 12th.
We need one male volunteer from now until the 12th of October. Main work will include collecting wood with quad and trailer and stacking it for the winter months. Be prepared this is tiring work.

We have a walled garden, with a polytunnel where we grow fruit, salads and vegetables.
For accommodation you will have comfortable accommodation with all mod cons and we will buy you the food you want each week. You will also eat at least one meal per week with your hosts and their families.
There is 35 hrs work per week
Monday - Friday 9am-4pm. There is one 15 minute tea break & one 35 minute lunch break during this period.

A little bit about the estate.
We are a 200 acre organic deer farm situated in County Limerick. The deer are self sufficient. We also keep some geese and hens.
We have planted 40 acres of forestry which need to be pruned and thinned. We use the wood to stock our wood burning boiler which heats the self catering business( Springfield Castle) that we also run.
We also planted 2 acres of hazel trees which were inoculated with truffle mushrooms.
There is farm and forestry maintenance to be done as well as estate maintenance such as gardening including mowing, weeding, watering etc. There will be indoor work during bad weather such as painting, cleaning, wood splitting etc.
