Last Updated: November 28, 2017

**Looking for one or two people to help with moving house. Cleaning, moving furniture etc**

**Help is required for November 2017 onwards, must be competent, have a moderate level of fitness, be able to work alone, have a current driving license and be able to drive a manual car**Preference will be given to someone wanting to stay long term, helping to feed the animals and do property maintenance**

**Someone who is happy to do housework (cleaning, vacuuming, washing windows etc), gardening (weeding, spreading mulch etc) and cooking for our family**

Hillcrest is a mixed farm on 500 acres in Swan Reach Victoria, milking up to 150 cows, we also run free range pigs, a small flock of sheep and chickens.

Accommodation is a comfortable 22 ft caravan with a television, heater and tea and coffee making facilities in it. The kitchen and bathroom are located inside the house.

You are welcome to help yourself to breakfast and lunch and are invited to join us for our evening meal. You may be required to help out with the evening meal on occasion (if you are happy to cook).
We eat as organically as possible, and all our meat is home grown.

Duties would include general home maintenance, helping with farm chores (ie: feeding pigs, chickens, and calves), cleaning and sorting eggs, mowing, weeding, helping to establish a veggie garden (the pigs got into the last one!), cooking and home duties. We would require a minimum of 4 hours work per person per day. More than happy to structure work to suit your skills or areas of interest.

Please include in your email to us dates you wish to stay, and a little information about yourself, hobbies, skills etc.

Due to change of laws as of of 31 August 2015 we are no longer able to sign second year visas.

We are close to beaches and some beautiful villages, with Metung, Bruthen and Lakes Entrance all within a 15 minute drive.
Our farm backs onto the state forest and we are positioned in a beautiful part of the country with some gorgeous views, and only a few minutes walk to the Tambo River.

Trains leave Southern Cross station in Melbourne and come direct to Bairnsdale where we are happy to collect you from the station.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes down the road, but a car would definitely be a bonus for exploring the area.
