Two of us live here full time. I, from NZ, am an English teaching, firedancing, WWOOF representative, travel agent, planter, juice maker, do-othetrstuffer finding footing in Norway. And, my partner, Norwegian, is in a social anthropological early childhood carer.

Currently ( Aug 2014), we are creating alot of hugel/woody beds, so carrying wood and digging can be expected. Also, we plan to paint the hut, so work with paint painting is happening. Also, preparing to build a logstyle hotbath house

You must be able to be comfortable in a tent and sleeping bag, preferably your own.

Our living room and kitchen are kinda small and cozy, and we have a large veranda and much outdoor space.

Toilet is a humanure system.

Water from rain and river. No shower currently (we swim at the local indoor pool, with sauna and spa (60kr.)) wash in the river. Rocket stove fire bath in the planning of the new hot/bath house.

Workshops are planned to be held on the property this summer

Musicians, specialists, firedancers, cooks, carvers, woodchoppers, artists, hikers, fishers, beginners, plumbers and builders welcome.

Must be able to work well and self start :-)

Heaps to do here; Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, yoga, knitting, boating, paddling, skiing, reading ...
