We have self catering tourism businesses in Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands. We previously had a guesthouse and have hosted happy volunteers for a number of years!
We have just refurbished a beautiful old manse house next to Loch Tummel and are currently letting that out as well as our self catering lodges.
We need people to help with weekly changeovers between guests. This involves cleaning, tidying and preparing the properties for the new arrivals.
We are also looking for volunteers with a love of gardening and outdoor work for help with landscaping a large pond and garden we are currently re-establishing in our two acre garden in Foss.

We are Tina and Norman, we are very adaptable, friendly and have run all aspects of our own small businesses for a long time now.
We have two daughters Kirsty, 26, Ailie, 25 and a son Calum who is 18. Our five dogs Whisky, Coco, Millie, Beauly and Tala are very friendly and popular with our Helpex guests.
Pitlochry and Aberfeldy are busy holiday villages in the Highlands. There are loads of outdoor activities and there are pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a distillery within walking and cycling distance.
Accommodation will be provided in the manse house or chalets. It's warm and comfortable and equipped with TV, washing machine and WiFi.
Would suit people with a love of outdoor activities.
There are numerous outdoor activities and easy access to the town. Mountain bikes, kayaks and a car are provided if required. (Correct paperwork is required for driving)
Our location in the centre of Scotland makes it easy for exploring. Rail and Bus links are excellent and access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Stirling and Inverness is very straightforward.
You will be provided with one hot meal a day and plenty of good food for the other meals.
We are friendly hosts who enjoy the company of our travelling helpers.
It works really well if you can stay for at least a month but we can sometimes consider shorter periods if it fits in.
