If you enjoy a brisk morning walk in open country, sharing space with the wildlife and farm animals, this may be the farm-stay for you. We live in the Granite Belt region of South East Queensland where it gets nice and cold during the winter months - an excellent time to enjoy a warm night of company in front of the wood fire or to sit out under the stars around a bonfire.

We are close to Girraween NP, Bald Rock NP, Boonoo Boonoo NP, and Sundown NP. Stanthorpe and its surrounds boasts over 50 wineries, a Lavendar farm and many orchards, a couple of strawberry farms and vegetable farms.

We run a cattle and sheep farm with the usual farm animals - horses, sheep with new born lambs at present, a pony, chickens and 2 cats.

We appreciate help feeding and caring for the animals, and outdoor farm work including fencing repairs, splitting wood, shed cleaning, gardening and general maintenance, and indoors - cooking on a wood stove, and general house cleaning. These vary from time to time as we focus on different needs.

If you find yourself in-between paying jobs and want to save yourself the expense of rent, and would be happy to contribute to our farm (we do not do the 2nd year visa) please consider a short or long stay with us.

Keith and I both enjoy a good laugh and learning about other countries and cultures.

Your own car would be an advantage, however, buses pass through Stanthorpe regularly and we can pick you up from the bus station in Stanthorpe. CRISPS Buses depart from the Brisbane Transit Centre - Roma Street, Brisbane at 10.55am Monday to Thursday and arrive in Stanthorpe at 2.20pm.

We look forward to hearing from you.
Keith and Jacqueline
