We urgently need someone to help in our community garden. Must like dogs. Can you help?

Coupar Angus is a small town in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Strathmore in Perthshire. Our group has e developed four Community Growing Areas and we produce vegetables for our town. Help is required to develop the areas as well as to plant, tend, harvest and sell, though local outlets, our locally grown vegetables. We need someone to help us in the garden.

We also run a cycling project (cycle training/ mechanics/ retail), a local vegetables and local crafts shop (the High Street Store), undertake various environmental projects around the town and publish the local news letter. We run a service offering energy saving advice to local residents. We can offer work in all of these areas. Accommodation is in our family home where you will have a room of your own. We will supply all meals.

Coupar Angus is situated just 20 km north of exciting cityDundee and about 100 km from Edinburgh. The town itself has a thriving community and it was awarded the prestigious Royal Horticultural Prize of best large village in the UK in 2016. The Community Growing Area, the Cycle Hub and the High Street Store are three of a number of projects being developed in Coupar Angus and which are designed to reduce the carbon footprint of the town
