Baby mountain retreat is nestled at the foot of the Balkan mountains and surrounded by the refreshing waters of the river Yantra, river beaches, mountain air, and heady scents of the local mountain flora and the Stara Planina mountain range.

I am currently looking for volunteers to come and help me develop the retreat, Im using natural building techniques of Cob to create further guest rooms, yoga/meditation barn, outdoor solar bathroom, compost toilet.

I would love help with a whole range of jobs from gardening, building, cooking and many creative projects i have I'm mind.

The gardens are now almost ready to be planted and developed into an oasis, i spent much of last year building hardscaping building walls, terraces and flower and veg beds.

I'm fairly new to natural building but love building and learning along the way about this ancient building technique.

The village is 20km from the old capital of Veliko Tarnovo in central Bulgaria. It is surrounded by forests and is enveloped by the beautiful and winding Yantra river. It has only 2 basic food shops and a bar, a visit to the vibrant city of Veliko Tarnovo is well worth a trip where you will find shops, bars, street art and an amazing fruit and Vegetable bazaar.
The village is connected to the city by four buses a day and a taxi can be taken for roughly 7 (8 euro) for a one way journey.

I visit Veliko Tarnovo a few times a week and you would be welcome to join me.

Volunteers will have sleeping accommodation provided either in the Yurt, Bell tent or main house, food and non alcoholic drinks will be provided, the cooking and general house keeping will be shared equally, the required hours of helping on the retreat is 6hrs a day 5 days a week.

You can find more info about me and my retreat on facebook, see link above.

A little about me, I'm 40 years of age and was guided to open a retreat here in Bulgaria in August 2012, since then i have left my home city of London and have been working renovating the old house and surrounding gardens, I live alone apart from my Cats, Dogs and Chicken, i feel blessed to have incredible neighbours who have helped me settle into this small rural village in Bulgaria. My interest are Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, Dance, Nature, natural building and gardening, I'm keen to learn more about permaculture and forest gardening but at present dont have the spare time to learn these concepts.

I look forward to hearing from you.
