This is a six-house carbon neutral co-housing project within a Community. The site is a compact one acre but includes; a 64m2 polycarbonate polytunnel, plenty of outdoor growing areas, a communal yurt space for accommodation, workshops and gatherings, wood fired pizza oven, a flock of ducks and a wood fired hot tub. Our ongoing and future projects include; the building of a communal outdoor kitchen, a compost toilet, experimenting with hydroponics, aquaculture and integrated growing systems, and establishing the site trees, berries, fungi and herbs as well as vegetables.

Volunteers will be hosted initially in the yurt, and one of our key projects this summer will be the creation of Volunteer accommodation next to the site polytunnel. We are also looking for volunteers who could contribute their skills to the building of our outdoor kitchen over the coming months.

Meals will be a mixture of self-catering in the yurt kitchen and communal meals. All food provided.

We are a 5 minutes walk through woods and sand dunes to the beach. We have ducks, a dog and a cat who live on site. Community members enjoy craft projects, cooking, foraging, preserving and making homebrews.

We utilise Permaculture approaches on site, and our dream is to create a vibrant, fun, efficient, low maintenance, integrated growing and living system. We are in our second year of living on the land.

Current work projects on site that we would like help with:
- Building of an outdoor kitchen, utilising carpentry skills, cob building, diy skills
- Building a tent platform
- General site maintenance; weeding, collecting debris, watering, strimming
- Earthworks; building up berms
- Establishing irrigation around the site

All projects will be guided & directed by community members, with support and instruction :-)
