We are an Association promoting veganism. We are a small Vegan Community in the Pyrenees Oriental, living in an ancient stone farmhouse in the hills with 21 hectares of Deciduous forest, orchard and vegetable gardens.
We welcome calm and enthusiastic HelpXers interested to help us maintain our property, and learn about Veganism and eating healthily in a beautiful environment.
Ideally we are looking for people with some experience, gardeners, builders, mechanics, and although we love silence we do need help with brushcutters from time to time also.
We live a simple life here without TV, radio or newspapers and eat simple mostly raw vegan food in silence and welcome visitors that respect our home and beliefs.
Stays are normally from 2 weeks and we normally have a trial for a few days to see that everyone is happy.
Please let us know about any health issues, and any type of work that you do not want to get involved in but also of course what attracted you to our community.
Probably a good idea to come with some good shoes or boots, but all other protection we will supply if needed.
We would like our visitors to work 30 hours a week.
No smokers or alcohol permitted. We look forward to meeting you.
The nearest city is Perpignan, and the One Euro bus takes about one hour and 40 minutes to arrive at our nearest village from where we can pick you up.
