This is a sheep and beef farm and we are a family with two small children (aged 7 yrs and 4 years). Whilst this is a beautiful farm with native bush and streams there is a lot of tidying up to do on the buildings and gardens. Jobs here would include painting, gardening, weeding, cleaning, spraying, clearing up. Help on farm may also be required including assisting with fencing and stock work.

In return for your 3-4hrs work per day (or the equivalent of) we can provide a self contained one bedroom cottage(queen bed), Telecom cell phone reception, access to broadband internet (for checking emails etc only), and we provide lunch on the days you work. Your own Car is recommended as we live 40 mins from our nearest town and are only in town once a week.

Length of stay - we would prefer one to two weeks but if everything is working out we could extend this by mutual arrangement.

We are very central to various town centres eg, we are about an hour from Taupo, 50 mins from Waitomo Caves, 1.5 hrs to Rotorua, 2.5 hrs to Auckland. We also have several lakes within half an hour of us and several walks and bike tracks.

We would enjoy meeting some new people and experience some new cultures so if you are keen to work hard and with initiative, like little kids and would like to experience a beautiful part of NZ, then we would love to hear from you.
