Just a short update to say that we could do with some help for our winter wood supply and we do have some plumbing and wiring jobs to complete, if any one is competent in these fields and looking for a stay please get in contact. We have lived and farmed in France since 1990. During that time we have had a multitude of visitors from all over the world for our B & B (which we no longer run). We have also had a great variety of people to help us from Australia, the Ukraine,France and the UK. Something we find stimulating and interesting.
This is a farm of just over 100 ha. We have two main enterprises, single suckler cows and sheep. With production of cereals and other crops used mainly for our own animals. As the farm is relatively small by todays standards we have also diversified in breeding dogs and welsh ponies.
This means we always plenty and a variety of work. Work for volunteers can be equally very varied depending on your skills from using the chainsaw to helping with the ponies or dogs, small building jobs, painting, tractor work, just let us know what you can offer. The biggest criteria is that you like animals and can adapt to a farm life.
Volunteers live in the house in accommodation that was previously used for B & B and is of good standard. If you have any skills to offer us please get in contact, feel free to ask more.
