Please don`t phone first, we are very quick to reply to emails. Please check out the blog.

We have some availability in October.

We would like you to commit for a minimum 2 week stay, negotiable after that. If we then have more work available and you are happy to stay on, that will be fine with us.

Our farm is located 40 mins drive north of Launceston in the Tamar Valley (Tasmania). We have a 140 acre property with panoramic views of the Tamar Valley and the mountains to the east (snow capped in winter), and to the north we can see the coastline and the ocean beyond.

We are a monogamous same sex (male) couple and hope that you will respect our relationship and our privacy as we will respect yours. Gay friendly. Open minded.
Our business enterprise is centered on beef cattle (60+). The farm is based on principals of perma culture where possible, particularly in the vegetable gardens, where we grow seasonal vegetables for the household and casual helpers. We grow fruit, vegetables and nuts, we also keep a few chicken for eggs. We value the environment and its diversity and have therefore set aside an area (approx. 10 acres) of native bush that we rarely visit, to allow the flora and forna to exist undisturbed.

We offer you comfortable accommodation in a self contained cabin, away from the main house which includes a queen sized bed and your own facilities, with TV, but we do not offer WiFi from our provider, you will be able to get WiFi from most providers Telstra or Optus have the best signal here..
Jobs around the farm will be varied and interesting. Attending to chickens, wood cutting- stacking, painting, mowing, weeding - attending to vegetable garden, watering, fencing and helping with cattle.
We are more than happy to help you to plan your trip around Tasmania so you get the most from your experience here.
