We offer a private self contained accommodation with lounge and kitchenette in exchange for two + hours work a day or about 10/12 hours a week. The kitchenette is suitable for light meal preparations only. You provide your own food.

At the moment we are looking for short term helpers. Though flexible as well. Experienced gardeners needed. And, anyone with stone work, brick work or carpentry would be great. Weeding and general house maintenace.

Longer term:
Ideal for those with working visas needing a place to stay while working in hospitality at one of the local restaurants or vineyards or in the building trade on the island.

The Casale, is a hand built cluster of earth-brick buildings and marble courtyards, in the tradition of the Italian countryside home, overlooking the sea in one direction and some of Waiheke Island's finest vineyards in the other.

I have a busy working studio and looking for experienced gardeners who are happy to work independently in the organic veggie and herbal beds, and help with the maintenance of the property i.e washing windows, stacking wood. We do have small projects and welcome those with building experience and or mechanical skills as we are also restoring a classical car.

We are 2km to the seaside village, beaches, cafes, shops and close to the walking path to the ferry wharf.
