We live on a 5 acre property about 10kms from cbd. Beautiful view of the ranges in a very quiet area. Secluded walks are very special and unique.
Work at the moment is helping with general garden maintenance and housework. People with skills are always welcome. You can do 4.5 hours work per person a day for food and accommodation 2.5 hours for just accomodation.
We have chooks, pea cocks, a turtle, a duck and a dog. We are also home to many native birds including the splendid blue fairy wren and if yo your lucky you might meet a passing parentte. You can discover some of Alices' beautiful secret valleys while walking the dog. We are close enough to walk to the famous emily gap or climb the Macdonald range and take in an endless view of the central australian desert. All however in the cooler parts of the year.
We Can provide meals fresh from garden when in season. Helpers must like outdoor style of living as accommodation is a caravan with outdoor undercover hang out area and a composting toilet. Guests will cook for themselves in their own kitchen or can share a meal with us. There is a plunge water tank pool to keep you cool and bikes you can borrow to either ride to town or take off on a cross country adventure.
Please note that whether from October till April can be high 30 s to low 40 s so if you want to stay between these months you must be able to withstand the heat.

Stays range from few days to weeks depending on availability and work needed done. You are more likely to secure a stay if you email me and give me a call.
