Located in Mani, in the very south of mainland Greece, about 300m above sea level in the foothills of the Taygetos mountain range, overlooking the Messinian Gulf you'll find my 3ha of mainly olive groves with over 300 olive trees. I am in the process of converting to organic status and returning the land to traditional farming methods, i.e growing fruit and vegetables and perhaps keeping some livestock, incl. horses. The work in hand is varied and includes the maintenance of trees and harvest of olives, clearing land, rebuilding dry stone walls and housing for animals and humans. I aim to combine traditional materials, from sustainable resources, and recycled materials wherever possible and would welcome your help at any time of year, especially though at harvest time Nov.-Feb. In general I prefer longer stays, at least 2 weeks, longer after a trial period.

I've just finished building a grid connected photovoltaic installation on my land. The next project is to complete a carpentry workshop and start building the house.

I do appreciate meaningful applications with as much detail as possible and tend to ignore one liners.
