Volunteer with an NGO focused on empowering Ha Noiís youth through English language education, vocational training and social development guidance

Fluency in conversational English is becoming more and more vital to international youth emerging in the professional world. We provide free English lessons to school and university aged students unable to afford private tutoring. This opportunity gives the students the opportunity to seek more gainful employment than they could without English language skills.

The organization has established the following missions to help our communityís youth:
- Mobilize support from international resources to implement programs enabling capacity development for local educational institutions.
ē Utilize international resources to supplement the learning available in our educational institutions.

- Design and implement educational programs to develop skills for young people
ē Develop studentís professional skills through vocational exercises

- Design and implement community development programs with special attention to the benefit of disadvantaged groups such as children and teenagers in the countryside.
ē Optimize community impact by engaging disadvantaged groups in Viet Namís countryside and rural areas

In addition to helping the youth of Northern Vietnam, we aim to provide education and to support the development of some disabled children in Hanoi. The majority of the disabled children we support lie on the autistic spectrum. While the awareness of autism has been growing in Vietnam there is still much work to be done. Many of these children are left standing on the sidelines and their integration within society is not of importance to policy makers, quiet simply because of a lack of understanding of how to support the development of those living with autism.

It is our firm belief that, our effort coupled with the support from volunteers all over the world, we will be able to have a positive impact on the development both physically and socially for those living with autism.

We would like to welcome you to provide meaningful help to disadvantaged groups in our society. By being part of our organization, you will have memorable experiences, discover the Vietnamese Culture, enjoy traditional food and visit plenty of places with friendly students.

One more special thing! Our closed partner is the manager of the most modern and high qualified Korean Clinic in Ha Noi, so you have an opportunity of visiting lovely Cats and Dogs or practising skills with there

Charity work

Volunteers will work approximately 5 hours a day from Monday to Friday (and occasional charity work on Saturday mornings.)

Students will already possess a basic knowledge of the language. Classes will host a variety of skill levels and focus primarily on pronunciation, communication, listening, speaking skills, and other important soft skills.

Tourism is a major industry in Vietnam. We will organize weekend tours giving students the opportunity to practice real world vocational and language application. Students will act as tour guides for the volunteers, showing them famous and traditional sites in Ha Noiís capital. Volunteers will travel to various charities once a month to work with underprivileged and disabled children. No previous teaching experience is required.

Volunteers will receive a free room in our Hanoi-based apartment and three meals per day for the duration of their stay. The apartment is a 10 minutes walk from West Lake (Ha Noiís most beautiful lake surrounded by excellent cafes.) The bus system provides very reliable transportation and it only takes about 15 minutes by motorbike to get to the Old Quarter.
The flat has a large living room/ study space, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds each( 8 beds total-, each volunteer will have their own bed); 1 bathroom; 1 kitchen; 2 balconies with beautiful views.
Additional amenities: air-conditioning, fridge, hot water, blankets and mattresses.
The area is very safe and there is a market every day in the street right next to the flatwhere you can find fresh vegetables and exotic fruits.
