We moved here in 2012, with the intention of running a small holiday business on site, which could allow us to live as sustainably & organically as possible.

We share our 14 acres with various livestock; goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, horses, geese & have planted a kitchen garden with the new addition of an orchard (apples, pears, cherries & plums) in 2014.

During 2013 we renovated a cottage on site for holiday letting, 2014 saw us open a very small glamping site, with medieval glamping tents to stay in.

There are lots of projects we want to start on our medieval sward, (creating a knot garden, medieval copsing, tree/hedge maintenance, livestock fencing & huts to be made, brick walls to laid, kitchen garden to be maintained, plant vines & build a poly tunnel, etc).

There's also the house which is a huge project, so any electricians, joiners, bricklayers, plumbers and maintenance people are hugely appreciated!

Of course there's the holiday business itself to support, so we try to match you up with what will make everyone happy during your stay.

We have a caravan on site, as well as a room in the house to stay in. So, it's what you would prefer really (and whether one is free or not)!

It's not just about our business, this is a lifestyle which we would love to share with like-minded people, who can, in turn learn from each other.
