We run a flower farm in far north QLD and need help in exchange for food and accommodation.

We are looking for 1 or 2 people who are able to share a room together. You will have your own room but will need to share it if you are 2 people.

Work is on a Heliconia flower farm in Mossman far north QLD 90KM north of Cairns and 15 KM north of Port Douglas and 60 km south of the Daintree.

The location is beautiful with mountains all around and tropical rainforest. There are rivers near by for swimming and the town is only 3 KM away.

There is a house to stay in that will be for helpers so you will have privacy and luxury! it is 3 bedrooms and has a nice outlook see the photos in this profile

The work is up 30 hours a week and is sometimes quite physical but the work is very rewarding and you can learn a lot about and tropical flower farming and fruit.

Duties vary and include picking and sorting flowers, maintaining flower garden beds, help with land maintenance and going to Cairns to help sell flowers in the market some weeks. There may be other duties depending on the season.

Italian is spoken and Italians are particularity welcome!
