We have purchased a portion of rainbow valley farm (as seen on country calender on you tube) A permaculture farm which had been left to nature for the last six years. We are working to reestablish gardens, pathways, fencing and are planting orchards and trees as well as removing trees and noxious weeds from the bush that are not part of the native habitat. As well as that we are going through the process with the local council to start building our house.

We are after capable people who don't mind getting their hands dirty doing fencing, gardening, laboring and/or anything else that requires doing. In exchange for your help we'll feed you and put you up in a caravan. Must be fun loving and have a sense of humour.

We are a husband and wife team with an adult son living on site and other adult kids and grandchildren that visit periodically. We have three dogs, a cat, and soon to be chickens and sheep along with the odd cattle beast...

We are very close to beaches, a marine reserve, local shops, and the weekend Matakana markets..
We would be happy to help with transport where possible but would suggest a personal vehicle would be the ultimate to get to see the many sights and experiences in our area.
