HI TO EVERY ONE! WE ARE LOOKING FOR 2 HELPERS FROM NEXT WEEK (21 August) TO 3 SEPTEMBER. WE NEED FOR PICKING FRUIT , DO.JAM AND TAKE CARE OF HORSES. IF SOMEONE IS AVAILABLE TO COME PLEASE ONTACT US. THANKYOU VERY MUCH.
Company: organic, about 53 ha of arable land, forests, pastures, orchards and olive groves, in appennino lucano. In one of the forests there are remains of a settlement from the 5th century b.c.; You can find fossil shells, meet foxes, Martens, weasels, hedgehogs, porcupines, hares, wild boars; see fly hawks, buzzards, kites, bee-eaters, woodpeckers, red or green the hoopoe, and many other birds. Edible herbs grow everywhere along with endless variety of flowers.
We make ancient varieties of durum wheat flour, but also fruit and oil.
Here there is always something to do: collect the fruit and making jams, collect the olives and bring them to the mill, treat the garden, build fences, cleaning the undergrowth, clean and Curry him horses, make the cheeses together with our friends pastors, etc.

We live in the town, Cancellara,in a big house where we welcome anyone who wants to come and share our lives. We Speak a quite good English a very good Spanish and just a little French.
Who comes to us: lodging in room or apartment; bio also vegetarian meals; stay: from one to three weeks, but even more so if we are good together.
Ours is a closed circuit: we produce quality durum wheat "Senator Hats" and spelt which we transform with a small plant of decortication and pearled and a knitting mill in stone. We have a small orchard whose products are made in our laboratory for jams. Olive trees allow us to produce our oil consumption and for guests. We Feed the boiler to warm us up with the waste of the underbrush. Wine, cheese and some baked goods we buy them from local producers in the country. We started to organize a series of courses on "self-handling" for us and our guests: felt, detergents, natural food, bread, SOAP and much more ...
The fact that we are only three does not allow us to fully exploit the potential of the company and therefore we decided to "ask for help" to those who want to come and spend some weeks with us, helping us in return for hospitality. What do we expect from you
Every day (at home): House cleaning and above all common spaces; wash the dishes, Cook ...
According to the season (in the country): help in the stable, Pottering in the garden, picking fruit, herbs, wood, straw, hay, etc. .... construction of fences,........ and everything that serves the business needs of the moment.
(In the laboratory) processing and packaging of products (fruit, vegetables, herbs, cereals, legumes, etc.)
The work schedule is flexible, it must be adapted to the needs of the moment and scheduled daily.
However, we ask to work with us from 20 to 25 hours a week with one or two days off per week and make our lives as working hours, both as an organization of the House.
Our guests are hosted in an apartment attached to our House, in the town, with bedroom, kitchen/living (but we always eat toghether) room and a bathroom.
