I am a licensed nutritionist in the state of Maryland looking for someone to help with:
MAJOR!! – the first two, especially
• My nutritionist business
o Organizing the current work. File, organize files, create a do-able chron file system.
o Continuing to develop the Website. I have not touched it for years, and some of the software has failed, so I am transferring to WIX. Current: www.LFC-Nutrition.com.
o Creating new client communications
o Brainstorming for new types of services such as workshops, seminars, etc.
o Creating community-building activities
• The Bethesda, MD AirBnB
o Creating “Command Central” in the home office.
? The binder with the logistics of and engagements with the site AirBnB.com
? The binder/chron file with the ongoing information about the AirBnB guests
? The Binder/how-to sheets/chron file with workflow information – tidying, cleaning, food, kitchen
o Creating the AirBnB listing
? Descriptions – general, and in the HHT format (first creating the HHT format)
? Pictures – rooms, house, neighborhood, Bethesda, etc.
o Brainstorming creative ways to give this AirBnB a creative flair – nutrition-style.
o Creating the talking points for Health Home Tourism (HHT) which the Bethesda, Maryland and the Reading, Pennsylvania houses will be the starting examples of and models for.
o Create the paperwork which other AirBnB’s will use when they become a part of the HHT network to explain their nurturing amenities. An outline of all possible nurturing categories: nutrition, music, arts, crafts, sewing, fitness, sports, entertainment, etc.
• The Reading, PA AirBnB
o Initial paperwork and starting systems for organizing and then working this house as an AirBnB destination. (See more details, above.)
o Creating the job description for Tenant-Manager. Advertising for this position.
o Organizing for the Tenant-Manager there
• General household needs such as cleaning, gardening, fixing, painting, specialized cooking, etc.
MINOR – mostly just subjects for conversation
• Brainstorming new paradigms for aging in place.
o Using the family home.
o Nutrition Central – the nutrition of the “parent” being taught to the caregivers and then received back to the “parent”.
o Using ideas from other strategies for shared housing, and other strategies for intergenerational helping such as the incorporated “Villages” of Montgomery County – which my neighborhood is!
o Using ideas from mutual helping organizations such as HelpX.
• Developing the idea of “middle-age care”.
o Helping to make manifest the dreams of our last experience of meaningful work: Helping someone in middle-age can be a unique and robust experience as people in middle-age have the life perspective and experience which can give them great ideas and visions for the future, and for their one-more dive into meaningful work. There is “child-care” and “elder-care”. But the care of the middle-age is sorely neglected. And it could be the most joyful, meaningful and vital! (This is what I am looking for, for myself!)
o As day-to-day help: Another part of “middle-age care” is simply helping that age-group who can be sandwiched between their children who need a great deal of help and their aging parents who also need a great deal of help. Articles about this note that it is hard and that they are heros for doing it. But some people can NOT do it all. This is a relatively new thing in history. And they need some help! They need “middle-age care”!
I am writing many of my ideas, but the true needs are my nutrition business, and my two AirBnB’s. The other things are for conversations over dinner. I am eager to share and hear your ideas as well!
I have a house big enough for a home business as a licensed nutritionist, and to rent rooms out for Airbnb. But I don't have the time to do all of the work, myself, on it.

There is lots of work! I am looking for someone with computer skills - all are appreciated and the more the better. Ideally, I am looking for someone who can build and tweak a website using WIX! And who has a great deal of experience building websites and knows their nuances, as I build one which captures my uniquenesses - both of my business and of me.
And I am looking for someone with good organizational interests - from organizing files and paper, to organizing closets/garage/basemen/cabinets, and resources for the future Airbnb guests which we will have here. And who is willing to do the cleaning in between the organizing tasks.
From my professional notes, I am creating handouts and visuals and informational sheets and forms and spreadsheets and graphics for clients. Do you have a specialty in any of these computer skills? The ongoing subject is nutrition for disease treatment and management.
I live in the center of the universe - or so it sometimes seems to be. I live in DC and it is a fabulous cultural center - from the free world-class museums to cultural events of all kinds, to an amazing wilderness just outside of the city. Many folks who have stayed here have engaged in a rich social life through Meetup.com. There is an urban walk every weekend in DC, starting and ending at the free zoo, which is my favorite and really helps you to get to know the city.
I am a long walk or a short Uber drive to the Metro, red line, which brings you right into downtown Washington, DC or anywhere else in the area!
Bethesda, itself, is a lovely place to visit! With chic nice boutique shops, 200 restaurants, and other great stores, in an easy walking downtown area. There is also a free Bethesda “Circulator” bus which helps you to easily get to the other parts of Bethesda, as well, such as the Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Women’s Market with food, crafts, etc.
