We are a socio-agricultural collective, experiencing agroecological cultivation for our consumption, for sales through alternative channels (direct sales, consumer groups, farmers' markets, etc.) and for the creation of self-income alternatives.
We cultivate about 2.5 hectares in Sa Segada, 3 km from Alghero: one part is dedicated to rotation and cultivation of seasonal vegetables; another part, separated by rows of cypress and eucalyptus trees, is used for growing trees for wood (Paulownia), beekeeping and free camping - for us and for you.
The land is surrounded by river Rio Barca in its final stretch, just before flowing into the lake Calich. We host in a camp area (space for tents, campers, caravans, etc), which also includes a kitchen area. In winter you can stay in a separate room with bath (maximum 3 people) near the garden.
It's recommended have a car if you want to discover the surroundings; Alghero is not far from here (about 4km) but the road is dangerous by bike or on foot, and there is no public transport.
We're also engaged in organizing social events and cultural initiatives (social dinners, markets, courses, workshops, briefings, presentations of books, films, etc.) and active participation in the creation of a regional network, joining Genuino Clandestino (movement for the free circulation and free trasformation of farmer's products).
We would like guests autonomous and with self-management skills, and interested, with awareness, in food sovereignty.
Most agricultural works are concentrated during summer, which is also the time with the best conditions for hosting. See you there!
