This is a large finca of terraces and forest in the foothills of the pyrenees. The house is very remote up a 2km track and twenty minutes walk from a very small village. The house runs off solar energy and water from the local river. We haven`t had helpers for the last couple of years but now have a few projects that we need help with. We can normally offer work both on the land or helping with construction projects and I am always happy to discuss in more detail whatever we have planned if you think you might like to come here. We also keep bees so if you are interested in apiculture you can gain some experience. We speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. The area is spectacularly beautiful with an 11th century castle ruin and hermitage. Great for nature and wildlife with Golden Eagles nesting in the valley and great for climbing and walking. Definitely for those who enjoy the peace and quiet of the wilderness. We offer accomodation and good food for five hours per day, five days a week. We are a non smoking household. We prefer to host for at least two weeks but if you don`t have two weeks ask anyway.
