We are looking for volunteers to work on our permaculture farm in Maldon, Victoria. We are based only 5km from the local town where transport can be arranged for volunteers to come and go as they please. We have had volunteers (with 2 still at the moment) get paid work within the local town. We also cater to large parties/weddings which has resulted in our volunteers getting paid work during these events.

We provide comfortable accommodation, more food than you can eat. Volunteers are welcome to come and go as they please in our family home where we have unlimited free wifi, a personal computer and a landline phone that has free calls to anywhere in Australia.

We have proudly been hosts for almost 20 years, and love sharing our culture and lifestyle. Exchange is the key word involved with the expectation of exchanging between 4-6 hours per day of energy for lodgings. This can be flexible and fits around the regular farm routine of the hosts.

Our helpers live as part of a family on our well-established permaculture property with rare fruits, milking goat, chooks, ducks, dogs, plus our young adult twins sons. Always varied and interesting work to offer those keen to learn. Work might include firewood gathering, no-dig gardening, berry picking in season, solar drying excess fruit, fruit tree propagation, general farm work and assisting with market stalls.
