Looking for some help for the growing season! Are you interested in learning how to start seeds? We're busy into our vegetable season with lots of seed starting and greenhouse growing for our CSA customers. And we're also going to be making large batches of broths and soup stock for sale at farmers markets this summer.

We've got a space in a camper trailer for you, with meals and showers in the farm house (20 minutes north of the western Ottawa suburbs). There are lots of attractions just minutes away - whether you'd like to visit national museums and galleries, go camping, or do some shopping on the weekends. We're very close to many hiking trails and the wonderfully scenic Gatineau Park, and there is a provincial park nearby, too.

We have almost 200 sheep along with guard dogs and a guard donkey for our sheep, on our 100 acre farm that's mostly divided into pasture and hay fields. Lambing will began in April and finished at the end of May, so the animals will go out on the fields for the summer. But, there are still some bottle lambs that we need help feeding.

We need help with planting, weeding, harvesting, and packing vegetables, as well as with moving fences and water hoses for the sheep. We'll be building some new raised beds in the greenhouse, and a more permanent irrigation system for watering the animals so you can learn a bit about minor construction and plumbing projects.
