The property is nestled in the Mary Valley on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We are located just under an hour away from the beautiful Sunshine Coast which has some of the best beaches in Queensland and great beach side towns. We run 350 high production holstein dairy cows on grass feed all year round, supplying a leading Australian company with high quality produce so attention to detail will be crucial in this role. We have a 30 aside herringbone dairy with automatic cup removers and an automatic drafting gate. We are currently installing an automatic calf feeder to improve the efficiency of our operation further. We currently have 3 centre pivot irrigation systems and also solid set which allows us to grow high quality feed all year round.

We are looking for a female, casual relief milker in exchange for accommodation and a small wage to join our team. This is a family run business with teenage daughters who are heavily involved in the operation. We currently have 3 Australians and 1 Irishman in our employment who are all male. We are looking for a female to give some diversity in the workplace. Overall this will offer the applicant a chance to experience life on a well run Australian dairy farm and get a first hand point of view of rural Australian life.
