SEE NZ VIA SHOW JUMPING COMPETITIONS! We are currently looking for a Show Jumping GROOM - must keen/experienced person preferably able to stay for the season from now thru to end of April. Check out our facebook page link above.

A riding school and educating of horses and training of thoroughbred race horses, and competitive show jumping. Farrier & Horse Dentistry. General farm work and gardening.
Located half way between Cambridge and Hamilton. We have 2 children (aged 17, 19), around 22 ponies plus SJ and racehorses and young ones, cows, free range chooks, 2 cats, 4 dogs and too many wild rabbits running around. Also have a small fruit orchard, and large gardens.

We are a very busy place, with an active family, and thus appreciate people wanting to taste our life style, who are self motivated, dont mind hard work, and can use their initiative.

We are not vegetarians, and enjoy a good laugh/conversation with a glass of wine or beer. Welcome to connect to wireless internet.

Possible work areas are, gardening, general farm work, stock work, maintenance, weed control, firewood, horses; stable hand, feeding, mucking out, riding track work. There is riding for very experienced riders only. Everyone is expected to contribute with household chores. Work Clothes are provided.

Experienced horse people maybe able to come and help at competitions.

Your accommodation is usually your 'own' house, which is fully self contained and food.
