Hi We live a few minutes south of Oamaru. We have always lived in this area our grown son and daughter live close by and other children overseas. North Otago is a safe, diverse and creative little community.
On our property we propagate vegetable plants for the local market gardeners, organic and non organic and have a large grade wholesale plant nursery with many varieties of trees.
We are busy during the day in our nursery where helpers are welcome to join us or do other jobs on our property,Chainsaw skills would be useful, cooks always welcome. We need some help in our large garden and are getting the house and deck painted this summer. If you like to clean/organise you would be very welcome during our busy summer season.

Our expectation is 4 hours work per day which will include all meals free wifi, rooms with double or single bed shared bathroom. If you have a special skill or talent that maybe able to be traded too.
We have a large garden which contains lots of art/sculpture.
We breed highland cattle, have free range poultry and two cats.
We enjoy the company of creative people of all ages and cultures
There are many local attractions which we would love to show you including the fossil trail, alps to ocean bike trail, loads of accessible wildlife, Moeraki boulders, and amazing victorian buildings which house diverse artists and businesses, surfing beaches, walking tracks, etc etc Oamaru is a very diverse community with many creative people and lots of outdoor sporting activities.
