Non-Organic Farm Stay.

Helpers needed JANUARY-APRIL 2018

Joan and Neil

Kiwi-English couple.

We are a very flexible couple in a stunning part of Ngatimoti. We can accommodate vegetarians and meat eaters easily. A wide variety of jobs need doing. Most heavy work we can do by machine. General farm work/help, possible barn building, painting etc.

There is a wide variety of jobs where we all work together - painting and decorating. Tending to the garden and trees. Tidying around the farm. Wiring a fence.

We are 15 minutes from Motueka. Nelson is 40 minutes away by car or bus from Motueka.

We have the experience of being a Helpx on our own travels and have hosted Helpx here in NZ and UK. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our farm and wish to make your time with us a happy one!

Flexible helping hours to suit you and us.
3 hours a day - no food
4 hours a day - with food
6-8 hours a day, then next day off etc.

ACCOMMODATION: Gypsy (style) caravan with a double bed and kitchen (also use of kitchen in main house). Electricity with heater for cold weather.

THE FARM: A small chicken, sheep and cattle farm in the Ngatimoti valley, with views out towards the Mount Arthur Range. There is 20 acres forest and 20 acres grazing grassland.

Neil goes into work for 9am and returns at 5-6pm most working days, so if you want to spend a day in the town or at the beach you have an option to get a ride in and back.

Much of the fine detail of your stay will best be discussed via phone and emails - looking forward to hearing from you.
