We are Bo, Rebecca, Dimity and Jesse (baby twins born in Oct 2015)

We purchased a lovely hillside property on the Tasman Peninsula in 2015 and are in the process of setting up our home and small market garden and farm project. We have a vegetable growing enterprise which has been on hold since having our baby twins. We are in the process of setting it back up again and need help to do so. Fencing, fertilising, planting, green house building, the list goes on.

We need Helpers who will help us with the gardening work and we would also be grateful for any help with housework, cooking and childcare. You might be interested in all or just one of the tasks so please let us know what your interests are and we can accommodate the work for you!

Practical and motivated people are very welcome!

Accommodation will be your own cute little tin cabin which is self contained and sleeps two people. This cabin is fully insulated with a wood heater so we can host Helpers ALL YEAR ROUND.

Our lifestyle is very basic and simple: limited power and rainwater, outdoor shower (though it is in a nice cubicle), and a composting loo! Hope you will enjoy experiencing the basic lifestyle too!

The Tasman Peninsula has a lot to offer and we can help you see the fantastic sites like Eagle Hawk neck, Cape Raoul and Cape Hauy, and of course Port Arthur.

4-5 hours work 5 days a week in exchange for food and accommodation, friendship and some transport! If you have a car that is ideal because we are quite remote but if not we can help you get around.

We are very interested in sustainable living and are aiming to be as self-sufficient as possible. If you are also interested in this then we will have a lot in common. We love sitting around a bonfire with friends and frequent trips to the beach for collecting seawater (to make salt), seaweed (fertiliser for the garden) and of course for fun!

Feel free to call or email.
