Looking for helpers commencing June 15, 2016 through to the beginning of October 2016.

My Garden is 6 acres in size, growing several varieties of vegetables. The garden property is located along highway 63, two hours north of Edmonton, Alberta, and two hours south of Fort McMurray, Alberta, placing us directly between these two cities, with smaller towns located nearby in the surrounding area.

This will be my fifth year of market gardening. I plan to attend the surrounding farmers markets, therefore this involves extensive labor for preparations.

My Garden is not a government certified organic operation, although it is all grown naturally, without the use of chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides, only Mother Natures love and aid.

The required assistance is for weeding, harvesting vegetables, preparation of produce for sale, and other various tasks involved with the garden.

Carpentry knowledge would be a great assest, I do need a handy person from time to time.

I have lodging for three workers, a couple, friends, or singles. I will provide food, and of course the garden is all accessible as desired. You will need to cook for yourselves though.

This is total country living, with a lake near by, and a golf course owned by local people. the garden borders the banks of the Wandering River, a beautiful peaceful area. The small hamlet of Wandering River, Alberta, is approximately 4km from the garden. There is so much more to say about the coutryside, but with all this said I am hoping everything will appeal to you. To anyone interested I would be very pleased to hear from you, and hopefully have the opportunity to work together.
