Why volunteer here?

We have various dates and opportunities this summer.

This isn't like any other camp. We have a unique atmosphere that cannot be explained, only experienced. Our team is constantly growing and we are always in search for new ideas, projects, games, if you have an idea? Lets hear it! If you have any skills and talents? share them and we'll share ours. We work as team, helping each other to achieve 100% of our potential.
In our opinion, we don't work a day of summer, our program is designed to be as much fun for us as it is for the students. Is being a judge of a talent show work? Swimming in the lake on a hot day? Playing BlackJack on casino night? Dancing at the disco?
Once you join our team, all your accommodation and food is on us! Perfect if you are travelling and looking to save money.

We are located in the east of Slovakia. The country is very small so it's 2 hours from Kosice airport. There are buses here all day, we are happy to help you with bus times etc

Creative, maintenance work;

1st May 2016 lasting 2-3 weeks

Making the camp beautiful before the summer really begins:

We love our camp but she's a little worn out. We are looking for people to bring her back to life.
The cabins are a little old, worn and need some love. We plan on refurbishing the camp as cheaply and creatively as possible.
There are 15-20 cabins and we want each one of them to be unique so, if you are creative and have ideas? Share them!
Here's a few things that need doing;

-Fixing up the cabins
-General maintenance i.e. sweeping, cleaning, dab of paint here and there.
-Making the camp safer
-Adding your personal touch to each cabin by painting, sewing, constructing etc

Of course, previous experiences in carpentry, painting/decorating is desirable as we only have 2-3 weeks to get her done. But enthusiasm is the most important!

Having a communicative level of English is important as we don't want you hurting yourself!

All volunteers must have travel insurance.

We expect 5hrs of work a day in return for food, accommodation and evening games! And unlimited assess to the lake!

Now the best part!

councillor support;

Over the years, we've had volunteers from all over the world who have later returned as councillors. This opportunity is great for people who are travelling and looking to save money, gain valuable experience, practice English and meeting unforgettable friends! At the camp, we value every member of the team and each person contributes to the unique atmosphere we love so much.

Responsibilities include;

-Work with the councillors to ensure the smooth delivery of all sessions/activities in a safe, appropriate manor.
-To communicate with councillors, working with them to ensure all equipment required for activities is present and report loss and damages
-Carry out residential duties on a rota basis, including meal supervision, lights-out duties, room checks and additional duties as required
In time, plan and independently run activities
-Have fun!

A high level of English is needed for this position.

Camp dates;

We will have 6 camp shifts lasting 11 days. You can join as many sessions as you like as we like to create a nice bond amongst staff and students.
Arriving the day before session begins is important to induct you into the site and for you to settle in.

1st - 18/06 - 28/06
2nd - 30/06 - 10/07
3rd - 12/07 - 22/07
4th - 24/07 - 03/08
5th - 05/08 - 15/08
6th - 17/08 - 27/08

Working hours to be discussed in interview.

Safety is our number one priority. Every person at camp must supply 2 references and will require an interview via Skype, facetime etc

At anytime during the camp, If we believe you are unfit to be around children, you will be asked to leave immediately.

Video of our camp shown below.

Much love :)
