We're Mike & Amy (and we have a 3yr old boy, Jai) and we've got a beautiful bit of land in Kuaotunu in a valley of native bush... 5 minutes from the beach and Kuaotunu village & Lukes Cafe (the best pizza and local beer)... with a private waterfall and kiwi's nearby... there's a couple of small buildings there already - think hobbit style! Cute but basic - and we're offering free accommodation in return for helping out with building and gardening etc. We might need a bit of babysitting sometimes too but only for anyone staying a while who has experience with kids :)

2 people max, preferably couples or guys.

This is accommodation only, not meals.

3hrs of help per day or half a day's work then one day off... we're flexible :)

You will need your own transport.

The land is off the grid so there is very limited power at the moment, only enough for a few lights, and there's no phone reception or internet there. (You can drive 5 mins to the local cafe to get reception and use wifi though)
It's also a couple of minutes walk through the bush from the carpark so you need to carry food etc up. There's a shower, compost loo (no smell!!) , gas stove and a wood stove that heats the hot water.

If you have any questions please get in touch!
