Are you a keen road cyclist? Fancy spending a few weeks in the French Alps doing hill climbs? If so, get in touch.

We're looking for road cycling volunteers to help us at our bike chalet near Bourg Saint Maurice in the Northern French Alps. You'll mainly be checking routes and developing new ones, chatting with guests about all things cycling, and helping with ride suggestions. You might even join guests on a ride or two.

Sometimes you may be helping with cleaning, a spot of gardening or washing up. Bike maintenance experience would be a plus, as would previous hospitality or customer service experience.

The chalet is in a quiet alpine village 7km along the riverside cycle path from Bourg St Maurice, our main town. The road cycling is fantastic, like the more famous Bourg d'Oisans area, but still relatively undiscovered. Famous local climbs include Cormet de Roselend, Col de la Madeleine, Col de l'Iseran and the Petit St Bernard.

If you want a break from the saddle, there are plenty of other outdoor activities to enjoy nearby, including white water rafting, hiking in the mountains, or just chilling out at the local swimming lake.

Your own road bike is essential (you can hire one locally too), as is a sociable attitude, plus good spoken and written English. If you're interested, get in touch.
