Must be over 21 and have own car/van. We offer your own double room, good meals, including our own fruit, vegetables and meat, and free wifi, to fit, drug free, mature English speaking helpers, in exchange for 4 hrs work per nights stay on our orchard/lifestyle block 10 mins from Kerikeri, 4 mins from Waipapa. Preference given to couples over 25 or those with previous work/helper history. Work varies depending on weather. May include gardening, orchard maintenance, seasonal fruit picking, housework.
We prefer to have a couple because at times you will be required to work without supervision depending on the job. Your own transport gives you freedom to explore Northland at your leisure. Lots lovely bush walks and beaches close by.
If you are in good health, over 21 years old and willing to help 4 hours per day, we look forward to hearing from you. On going orchard and garden maintenance. Sense of humor essential but most of all we want you to fit in and feel comfortable whilst learning new things. Stella our black lab dog will greet you on arrival. We also have 2 calves, 2 sheep, laying hens and bantams and various wild ducks on the pond being kept in line by the resident pukekos. Bird lovers paradise. Over 30 species on some days.
We look forward to sharing our piece of Northland paradise with you.
