This is a working cattle station 100km south of Thargomindah and 1000 kms west of Brisbane. We also operate a Station Stay for visitors. We need help ocasionally with general maintenance around the property. Sometimes this may involve hard physical work. We are particularly interested in helpers from January through to December.

Jobs could also include cooking, cleaning, housework, gardening, water runs, fencing, stockwork and general maintenance around the property. Also dealing with our paying guests.

We are an easy going couple in our 50's who love sharing our piece of the outback with visitors. Helpers would probably stay in our shearers quarters where the paying guests also stay. Pick up of the helpers could be arranged from Thargomindah.

Helpers will get a taste of the outback and learn what it is like to live in such a remote location, have the chance to do some camp oven cooking, yabbying, exploring our place and the opportunity to see Australian wildlife in the bush.

If you are interested in visiting please take note of the following information: we are 1100kms west of Brisbane, 1100 kms NW of Sydney and 1300 kms north of Melbourne. You can get a bus to Cunnamulla which is 300 kms from us, we may be able to pick you up from there and take you back but this is negotiable. A plane service will deliver you to our nearest town, Thargomindah , 100kms away, twice a week, we will certainly do pick ups at Thargo. But the best way to get to us is to have your own car and drive.

Please take the time to have a look at a map to see where we are in relation to where you will be and don't waste our time with silly emails if you have no intention of travelling the great distance across Australia to visit us. For those who do make it here, you'll have a great time and see some wonderful country! Regards & happy travels, Toni.
