Looking for helpers Sept - November to help with feeding calves, horses, general household and farm duties.

We have a 100 acre hill property set in the heart of north Rodney, 5 minutes to the west coast ( great fishing, Kayaking) 40 mins to the east coast(best swimming, surfing beaches and 1 hour from Auckland central.

We hand rear 100 + calves per year and have a small number of riding horses + trotting horses along with cattle, sheep, chooks, working dogs and the house cat.

For accommodation there are 2 bedrooms available in a 5 bedroom Basic/Rustic barn house sharing the house with 2 other adults.(Currently 4 adults)
Wifi available

We are looking for motivated people who enjoy achieving things as the property is undergoing developing and there is a wide range of things to do, from in and around the house to out and about over the farm,if you are a hands on type of person perfect !! any skills you can offer will always be appreciated.

If you have experience with horses great although I have downsized I still have a few but they are best suited for people who have experience riding and who enjoy riding out and about around the country side as well as arena dressage/showjumping work. (Pic 1 & 5 are pictures of places we take the horses out riding)

If you are looking to experience rural life in NZ then this would be a great opportunity for you.

There is no public transport available so best suited for people who have a car or who enjoy quiet rural living, we are happy to get people to & from main centres and help arrange sightseeing kiwi experiences.
