As a backpacker recently returned from my adventure abroad in New Zealand using Helpx, I can't wait to open my home to other backpackers!

My life is simple back home - as a uni student I currently live with my mother over the summer, waitressing in the evenings here in a typical small Wisconsin town - Baraboo. During the day, I'm looking for a helper to help me sort through our belongings, as we will be moving soon and would appreciate some help sorting, organizing, and packing. We don't own much though, so this isn't a huge task - perhaps 2 hours a day, a few days a week. Mostly, I am looking for awesome fellow backpackers to hike, kayak, and bike around this beautiful area of Wisconsin. We'd love to offer a place for you to stay and a small family to be a part of while you are traveling! Like I said, I mostly just want to give back to the backpacking community by offering a free place to stay and an fun enthusiastic tour guide (me!) to this area!

Baraboo has a lot to offer, with several great state parks (Devil's Lake, Natural Bridge, Parfrey's Glen). I also frequently travel and stay in Madison (the capital city) and would love to host you there as well. But the biggest perk is that you'll be living with an enthusiastic young uni student and her equally enthusiastic mother (who cooks very well). Can't wait to introduce you to my friends, my church community, and my small town American life!

We are happy to host you for only a day or two, or longer. I also have lots of friends and connections if you are looking for other opportunities. Lots of paid work in this area (especially summer work) too if you want connections for that since the Wisconsin Dells is a popular summer touristy spot.

Look forward to hearing from you!
