We specialize in dried herbs for tea and infusions. We strive to produce the highest quality herbs through our growing and drying practices. These include harvesting at the herbsí peak potency and rapid drying process, setting the quality of our herbs far above that of conventional herbal teas. Our farming practices are absolutely chemical free, we are a no till farm and use local compost for fertility. Everything done is by hand. Biodynamic and permaculture principles are incorporated when able. The farm is located located on peaceful land at the foothills of the Catskill mountains with field, forest, and a special creek.

We are also a budding homestead community & retreat center, growing allot of our own food, tending chickens, building infrastructure and hosting events.

We are seeking enthusiastic self motivated volunteers interested in sharing knowledge. Volunteers can expect to work on: planting, harvesting, dried herb processing, packaging, veggie growing, cooking, building, chopping wood, and occasional markets.
We are asking for 4 1/2 days of directed work & a half day of individually inspired contribution each week (this leaves 2 days to relax, play, hike, swim, etc. every week). We do our utmost to cultivate a nourishing work environment.

We will provide basic, wholesome food items (eggs, milk, tea, grains, legumes, veggies, oils, spices etc.) that are available for personal use as well as for communal meals. Some meal prep will be done individually and some communally.
Volunteer accommodations include: a spot for your tent (we might have a tent to loan you if you donít have one), shared guest kitchen & indoor lounge space, access to toilet/shower rooms, on-site laundry, & limited wifi.

We a in a rural setting but the following is accessible within a 30 min drive: Post office, grocery store, restaurants, cafes, endless hikes, rock climbing, swim holes, clothing stores, hardware store etc.
If you are taking the bus here, we can pick you up from the Rosendale NY bus station (

If you are interested in volunteering with us please message us and INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS so we can send you our intake form along with more info about us.
