KindaVillage, an Intentional Kindness Communinity in the midst of Wales...... we are looking for pioneers and volunteers to realise the vision.

This is an innovative Social Impact community project, the 80-acre farm was recently purchased by our charity 'The MissingKind'and designated for its Headquarters and Eco-village project. A kindness community creating and serving both local and national charitable initiatives, hence the venue will be designed and adapted to serve its objectives.

We are in the very early stages of development, how exciting is that to be a pioneer! We anticipate self-sustaining the village through on-site Social Enterprises in well-being tourism, organic growing and alternative tiny homes (whacky wheels)

Located in idyllic surroundings in the Welsh countryside in an inspiring riverside location the project offers many opportunities to contribute, exchange and learn. An inspirational location with uniques spaces in nature, rain or shine, an opportunity to discover Welsh culture,

The core management team will initially be a mix of caretakers, community pioneers and volunteers, open to all ages and abilities.

Guests will be sharing bedrooms in a designated 4 bedroom farmhouse with spacious communal dining and leisure rooms, outside camping options will be available in the summer. Healthy vegetarian food is provided and a community mindset adopted to share chores.

We encourage mind and body well-being activities, typically, starting with a morning attunement, meditation and/or exercise, interjecting the day with some fun and then sharing meaningful evening entertainment. Our guests are encouraged to bring and share their passions for a better life for all, to be pro-active in social impact.

We have no immediate village community within easy walking distance, no shop or pub. There is a weekly car run into the local towns, also a limited bus service. If you don't have a love for the outdoors, you will have by the time you leave. cycling is challenging and walking may be more common than pedalling.
We encourage participation in the Welsh language and culure

The project is currently NOT suitable for short stays and we favour those that can support and personally develop over a longer period in excess of 1 month, A minimum of 3 preferred.
Although we are mostly non-smokers, we have no issue with rule-abiding smokers

We are a Tier-5 licenced sponsor for non-EU applicants, seeking a visa for the purposes of charity work.

PLEASE let us know if you are interested and passionate about making a contribution to the development of this project

If you already had experience in charity or social care and you have an idea/project you'd like to develop, we're here to support you, your passion and project. Together, we'll find the way to make your ideas happen with the people and resources that we have.

The volunteers will have the opportunity to get involved and be responsible for long-term projects. This opportunity will allow them to improve their social entrepreneur skills, develop their minds to find solutions by themselves, self-confidence, improve their multitasking skills, be part of a multi-cultural team.

Also, the volunteers will have the opportunity to travel to different places where we are working and explore their surroundings.

You will get quality food for both mind and body, just keep Hugh out of the kitchen. The only costs for you are your personal needs

More importantly, discover the Welsh culture

Sorry to say but all volunteers must be able to speak and understand English. We will need to have some rules too and an application form process to safequard the project.
