We are a young couple in our late thirties living in a middle sized house in La Vegueta, in the center of Lanzarote, a volcanic island in Canary Islands. Although we both have university degrees, right now we are spending more and more time in music, movement, creativity in general and nurturing our baby boy. La Vegueta is a very quiet place surrounded by volcanoes not far away from different natural attractions in the island.

We need general help in the house and specially with our baby. He is quite independent but also quite young (he was born in october 2015) so he cannot be left alone. Help would involve taking care of him, cooking, shopping, etc. 4 hours a day, 6 days a week. Volunteer should be someone caring, sweet and loving. Not hard work, but you need to be focused in it. We ask for a minimum of two weeks stay. Your room is a private one in the main house. There is internet available.

We live in the center of the island, far away from the tourist centers; this means this is very quite spot, but also not so available to reach by public transport, though there are some daily buses arriving every day from Arrecife (capital city of the island). Hitchhiking is easy here and we get the car sometimes to go to the beach, shopping or to nice cafés in the area.
