Builders & gardeners needed for April and May!

We are in our 2nd season as an eco hostel and it's really starting to come along. We have a permaculture garden, edible forest, composting toilets, an outdoor shower, an outdoor kitchen, an adobe pizza oven and of course our animals. Since we’re an eco-hostel and a centre for permaculture, we focus on re-use of materials and are continuously building and improving.

This year especially we focus extra on garden development and building projects, so we could really use some handy people in the upcoming months, mostly April and May.
That means that you partake in projects such as building an outdoor shower, a green filter, move stuff around, do small repairs and maintenance, make raised beds for the garden, plant and sow, tak care of teh animals.
We re- and upcycle as much as we can, so for building if you’re creative and a problem solver, that’s a big plus. For gardening it's a plus if you have some experience in permaculture.

What we offer:
Fresh, healthy, homemade food every day
A shared room/private tent (or bring your own)
Our place and all the fun and beauty that comes with it
A melting pot of people from all walks of life
Funky Groningen and Dutch culture

What we ask:
Stay with us for a minimum of 3 weeks
Work an average of 30 hours a week
You have experience in (eco-)building and/or permaculture
You are a problem solver
You are comfortable with a dynamic work environment
You speak English fluently. Extra points for Dutch speaking skills!
