We live on an 80 hectare beef and arable farm and we have a large house which dates from 1760. The farm is managed by the owner and a part-time assistant. There is always lots of work to be done: fencing, building, clearing, firewood chopping, maintenance, painting and garden restoration. Carpentry and plastering would be very welcome skills. We would like help with these and other projects during May-September of 2017. We have a young family and lots of experience of providing cultural exchanges.

We enjoy food and cooking and love to exchange recipes and techniques with our guests.

We are in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East region, in between Tara and Newgrange, 50k from Dublin with an excellent bus service and only 35 minutes from the airport.
Bicycles are available for local touring.
Bedroom and food provided in exchange for 5/6 hours work per day. Internet available for email/social media/web-surfing. Downloading large files is difficult because of limited bandwidth.

We'd be delighted to talk with prospective helpers over Skype or FaceTime to describe our lifestyle.
