Hey lovely Travellers! We are looking for a someone (or two) to housesit for us for approx three weeks from Dec 26 until mid January.
We run an Air Bnb in our house bus on the property and it is booked with guests at this time so we need someone to clean and get this ready each day for new guests. It takes only about an hour as it's small, and then washing and drying bedding etc for the bus.
We really want people who are so obsessed with cleaning and making the bus absolutely perfect :) (This is our little business and we want only 5 star reviews) :)).
I know this is not most peoples strengths but it is very important that this is yours.
Also, we have the cutest guinea pigs that need love and feeding and our two chickens and our maintenance free goldfish outside in the pond.
You will have the house and beautiful gardens and a spa to relax in. Wifi is available and possibly a car to use.
In the three weeks, we would love also some weeding, window cleaning and other jobs that may need doing while we are away.
So the hours are flexible (except Airbnb) and it's a pretty nice place!
We look forward to meeting you.
Hi to our future extended family,
A couple of summers ago, we did an epic 6 month house bus tour of New Zealand promoting our veggie planting guide #crocalua on instagram. This was great and gives us even more knowledge to share with you when you are making your own New Zealand travel plans.
We are a well traveled couple in our mid 40s. We have two super lovely boys Moss 9 and Fenn 4. Who really love the extra fun helpx brings to our life.
We are based in central Christchurch not far from the city centre and on the doorstep of this http://www.avonotakaronetwork.co.nz/resources/maps.html the new earthquake damaged parkland
We try to bring as much of the country to town as we can.
Our garden provides loads of food and we farm our own sheep and cows on a friends lifestyle block out of town.
We eat mostly organic with lots of fermented food, though are not adverse to the odd bag of chips, chocolate, wine and beer. :)
We have been with helpx now for 3 years and love it. Most of our helpx family turn up for a week and leave two months later! We love the exchange of culture and passion that our helpx folks have bought to our home and the real sense of family that this time brings.
We have bikes and sea kayaks available for you to use as well.
If this sounds like you then give us a call!
