Here a description for the projects planned this year, where you could be involved:
-Building 2 tiny houses on wheels
-Running the garden, setting up a new greenhouse
-Different construction work (digging, putting up solarpanels, build ceilings)
-Helping out at international Workcamp (12.-25.8.) and holiday program for kids (9.-13.7.)
-Help preparing a one day crafts-festival (9.6.)
-Support common juice making event with handycapped guests (8.-12.10.), and juicemaking in October/November
Our lovely place is located in a small, rural village in the north-east of Germany.
We are a family living on the farm and initiating most of the projects.
We appreciate if you like to join us!
Activities next to gardening and self sufficiency is restoring an old brick building to set up workshops for courses, inventing tools and common activities.
We run and improve also a juice making-manufactory, where we use own developed equipment.
Once a month we host a repair-cafe and several other activities, like cosy cinema-evenings.
We have a good relationship to many other people in our village and community-life in our area, that you could get to know at longer stays.
There is beautiful nature around, such as a nature protection area, small river, meadows, woods, and a lake to swim.
-outdoor solar shower in summer
-outside compost toilet
-heating with firewood
-no possibility to spend money in the village ;-)
Food is mostly vegetarian, usually organic, simple but good.
Vegetables and fruits almost all the year from our garden or around. We eat meat from time to time.
We try to have at least one meal a day all together ;-)
Accommodation is possible in guestroom, caravan, tent or hayloft or own camper.
We enjoy people feeling themselves present & powerful and skilled in important areas of life (or at least eager to learn).
You can support us best with:
-Gardening, preserving, drying
-Everyday jobs, cooking, cleaning
-Support with different events
-Maintaining the property
-Workshop work, fixing or building things
-Apple harvest and juice-making (Oct/Nov.)
For building and restoring we use clay, straw, wood or other (recycled) natural or long lasting materials as much as possible.
If you are crafts person, you will love our well equiped workshops.
