A Finland-center will be opened in the Lugansk Peopleís Republic (LPR) capitalís Lugansk Taras Shevchenko State University. The university is the largest in the county and is attended by approximately 10 000 students from ten faculties. The center will also offer one volunteer an opportunity to live and work in LPR for a fixed-period of time.

The center is open for all and will enable students and other interested an opportunity to get acquainted with the Finnish language, culture and business world approximately three times per week. Its purpose is also to create cooperation networks between the Lugansk Peopleís Republic and Finland.

Before LPRís independence several countries language and culture centers operated in the university and the activity is again being reestablished. The university will provide the center premises and other facilities and will assist in other needed arrangements. The opening of the center is planned to take place by the end of October, 2016.

The center offers one interested person a unique opportunity to experience life in the young republic in organizing its activities. The position provides a concrete chance to influence the future of the country and its citizenís as a part of the international community.

The university will provide the manager of the center accommodation, canteen food and cover the costs of normal living needs. The desired living and working time in Lugansk is minimum three months. Knowledge of Finnish and English language are required. Knowledge of the Russian language is preferred, but not mandatory.

The informal applications and any questions can be sent no later than 7.10.2016. The opening of the center is done in cooperation with the DONi Press, Donetsk International Press Center and the Finland Novorossiya Friendship society.
