We are a family farm, with a dairy herd of Brown Swiss cows on a New Zealand paddock grazing system.
We grow as much of the cattle feed as possible. We also have an anaerobic digester 180KWh
Our outputs are cheese and electricity. We are not organic but have recieved many awards for education and sustainable farming/green energy/environmental issues.
We have hosted several people through other schemes, vetinary students, cheesemakers, people interested in anaerobic digestion.
Helpers could be involved with calf rearing, cheesemaking or working to restore our walled garden, according to skills and interests

DECEMBER UPDATE: Its warm here, the hot water from the anaerobic digestion heats the house!

We are close to the North sea ( 3 miles). The neighbouring comunity of Wells next the Sea has shops, cinema, theatre, bars. Sailing and canoeing available on the harbour. From the village there are several busses daily to Kings lynn and Norwich and along the coast where there are nature reserves famous for migratory wetland birds.

We are on two national cycle routes and a long distance coastal path.

It is possible to reach london by bus from Norwich (megabus route) by train (london Sheringham) and by train (londonKings Lynn)
